Our Mission
Canarsie Community Development Incorporated (CCDI) is a community-based nonprofit organization that catalyzes, mobilizes, and unifies grassroots people-led efforts in Canarsie, Brooklyn to ensure that residents are equipped to address challenges and solutions from within the community. CCDI accomplishes our mission by:
1. Developing, strengthening, and galvanizing block, resident, and tenant associations in Canarsie.
2. Unifying block, resident, and tenant associations under an umbrella organization, thus establishing a unified voice when working with elected and appointed officials and state and municipal government agencies in addressing the concerns of Canarsie residents.
